On Sunday, March 12 residents of an address in Ridings Street, Sunnybank Hills woke to find that their house had been broken into while they slept. It appears that the offenders may have gained entry through a screen door which had not been key locked.
Police had spoken to two people in a nearby street earlier that same morning. This led to some excellent police work which identified a number of fraud offences linked to the break and enter.
CCTV footage was obtained and within 12 hours two people in their 30s were charged with the break and enter and other offences.
They are both due to appear at theĀ Brisbane Magistrates Court on April 5.
