Police are encouraging businesses in the Sherwood area to be vigilant with premises security after break and enters to cafe and restaurant establishments have been reported in recent days.
Police are investigating an break and enter that occurred in Honour Ave, Graceville overnight on March 16. Entry was gained by unknown offender jemmying a lock on the premises door. The offender has targeted the cash register which held no money and subsequently the offender left empty handed.
Investigations are also being conducted in relation to an attempted break and enter on Oxley Road, Graceville where unknown offender has jemmied a window frame and sliding door to gain entry. These attempts were unsuccessful. This was reported to have occurred between 9.30pm March 15 and 9am March 16.
Police are continuing investigations into another premises situated on Oxley Rd, Graceville where a break an enter offence occurred between 4.30pm March 13 and 5.30am March 14.
