A cinema, beauty salon, open spaces, shops and café are just some of the amenities that seniors will get to enjoy at Seasons Sinnamon Park, which is set to open in early 2018.
Seasons Aged Care, a specialist in private aged care services, has started construction on the aged care community on Oldfield Road in Sinnamon Park. Situated in a one of Brisbane’s fastest growing suburbs, the aged care facility will provide residents with easy access to open spaces, walking tracks, shopping, medical and transport services.
The first stage of the project will be completed in 2018 and will make available 128 units. Once finished in 2019, Seasons Sinnamon Park will provide 283 units.
Unique Amenities
Seasons Aged Care promises uniqueness in every community it builds based on where the facility sits. In the case of the Sinnamon Park aged-care community, residents can expect beautiful lakes, walking paths, men’s sheds, bird aviaries, chicken houses and community vegetable gardens.
Residents should be able to enjoy a particular sense of community with heaps of active lifestyle and social activities such as group exercises, cooking classes, arts and craft workshops.
Seasons CEO Nick Loudon emphasised that the facility is designed to provide security, dignity, respect and choice that anyone would expect.
“While each unit will present as a private residence, it will also have been subtly integrated with state of the art clinical monitoring capability and emergency response systems which can be accessed by our residents as they require them,” said Mr Loudon.
Old couples can continue living together at Seasons Sinnamon Park and family pets would also be welcome.
